The new album City Sailors is a celebration of life and lust. With songs like ”Are you ready for heartbreak”, ”I wanna eat”, ”Route 69” and ”I like to drink”, they sing about the essence of life: love, food, sex and heavy drinking. It's been two years since The Boatsmen’s self-titled debut album was released. Now on their second album they are a little bit older and a whole lot more hungry and thirsty. It's still a really good mixture of guitar solos combined with Turbonegro attitude and Ramones melodies. But this time around they have also thrown in some AC/DC blues rock in the mixer.
