The End Of The Age - единственный студийный альбом американской прогрессив-рок группы Another World Production, выпущенный в 1980 году частным способом. С тех пор на физических носителях альбом не переиздавался. На лонгплее The End Of The Age записано десять композиций, в диапазоне от прогрессива до хард-рока и от симфо-рока до фолка. Альбом открывается треком “I Say Hello”, с обилием инструментальных партий, включая меллотрон и мощными вокалами. Далее идёт арт-фолковая песня “Now I Sing” и это большой хит, с акустическими и электрическими гитарами и красивой мелодией. “He Is Real” - героическая композиция с солирующей гитарой и сильнейшим вокальным многоголосием. “Tomorrow” - прекрасная акустическая баллада, с великолепной мелодической линией, богатая на гармонии и волшебной атмосферой. “Tales Of Evil” - очень интересная хард-прог песня, с жёсткими риффами и непростым текстом.

“End Of The Age” - заглавная композиция, с апокалиптическим настроением и звучащая в духе Barclay James Harvest. “What Will Become” - лучший трек альбома, величественный хард-прогрессив, созданный под влиянием Pink Floyd и Wishbone Ash. “Lessons In Seven” - инструментальная пьеса, представляющая из себя классический барокко-рок, переходящий в забойный хард-рок. “I Pray Some Day” - драматичный трек, в духе великого John Wetton, с трепетными акустическими гитарами. Альбом завершается короткой композицией “Reprise”, симфонической и помпезной, и это идеальный финал шикарной пластинки талантливых американцев.
Группа Another World Production записала впечатляющий альбом, который выдержал испытание временем. И лонгплей The End Of The Age можно посоветовать поклонникам классического прогрессива и хард-рока, любителям арт-фолка, а также искателям потерянных рок-шедевров. Обратите внимание на этот релиз!

Shylmagoghnar is a Dutch metal project founded by Nimblkorg and Skirge. The self-produced and distributed debut album "Emergence" was released in February 2014. The project originally started out as atmospheric progressive black metal, but over the years the sound took on a life of its own. Strong influences of melodic death metal can be heard. Doom metal, blackened death and thrash metal have also had some impact. No matter what you wish to call it, we hope you will get something out of our work!

To be honest with you, we’ve been considering and wanting to make this kind of record after recording Seraphim II on the first volume of Mer de Revs. Material for this album was composed and recorded over the last two years during MdR recording sessions. The end result is almost 2 hours of music that we hope you’ll enjoy as much as we did recording it. (HTDC)
