Dead Girls Academy - I'll Find A Way - 2017

Victory Records welcomes Dead Girls Academy.
LYRICS:
Cause I want to
Wake the fire inside of you
There's nothing I can really do
Cause it's killing me that I'm killing you
Yeah, cause I want to
Sink below into your bones
Breathe life into your soul
Cause I can't do this on my own

But I'll find a way to live without you tonight
I'll be the one that waits for you to come to life
I know you're heaven sent, it's evident
I may be way too late
But I'll find a way to live without you
Cause I want to
Take a piece of you with me
It's the only thing I'll ever need
I'm killing you but it's killing me
Yeah, cause I want you to feel the pain with every bite
I take from you tonight
It's so wrong, but it tastes so right

But I'll find a way to live without you tonight
I'll be the one that waits for you to come to life
I know you're heaven sent, it's evident
I may be way too late
But I'll find a way to live without you

I'll find a way, I always do
I'll find a way, I wish you knew
When I find my way I'm coming for you
I'll find a way to live without you

But I'll find a way to live without you tonight
I'll be the one that waits for you to come to life
I know you're heaven sent, it's evident
I may be way too late
But I'll find a way to live without you

---------------------------------------------------------
Mystic Circle"

Last Episode.

Eisregen, Old Man's Child, Runemagick и Sacramentum. Скопировано с Dark-World.ru.

Farm - Farm - 1971 [Psychedelic Blues-Rock]

Psychedelic Blues-Rock USA 1971
Tracklist:01 - Sunshine In My Window [00:03:57]
02 - Cottonfield Woman [
00:04:01]
03 - Statesboro Blues [
00:04:24]
04 - Jungle Song [

- Del Herbert - lead guitar, 12-string acoustic guitar
- Gary Gordon - 2nd guitar, bottleneck guitar, vocals
- Jim Elwyn - bass, vocals
- Steve Evanchik - congas, timbales, cymbals, mouth harp
- Roger Greenwalt - organ, piano
- Mike Young - drums

Recorded at Golden Voice Recording Studios in South Pekin, Illinois and released on a small record label from Flora, Illinois, this Farm released a very obscure and rare album of heavy garage psych with fuzz guitars, congas, mouth harp, organ, bottleneck and timbales.
The album contains five tracks including Jungle Song, Let That Boy Boogie and Sunshine In My Window.
They thank a certain George Leeman as their friend and spiritual guide.
~ (Stephane Rebeschini) / Fuzz, Acid & Flowers
Farm was a late '60s band from Southern Illinois, whose bluesy, country rock style was very similar of that of The Allman Brothers, and Canned Heat.
In fact, Farm did an excellent version of the The Allman Brothers' "Statesboro Blues", which is featured on their first and only album, and opened for some big name acts of the day such as Canned Heat. Farm so impressed Canned Heat's manager at the time, he offered to represent them, but the band turned him down. Sadly, Farm disbanded about a year after their debut album was released.

Kings of Improg - Henosis - 2017

Review by nosMASS https://audioinferno.com/2017/09/11/a...
1. Ferrum
2. Keymaker
3. Gaea
4. Insurgent
5. Enigma
6. Ascension

Henosis is the new full album from Kings of Improg. Kings of Improg is an instrumental progressive rock band hailing from Benoni, on the east of Johannesburg, South Africa. The band has been together since 2012 and blends an eclectic mix of genres from hard alternative rock to progressive metal with blues, jazz & reggae influences, & everything in between, often describing themselves as a progressive psychedelic instrumental blues rock jam band. Henosis is the debut release for KOI, it is a concept album spanning 6 melodic yet hard hitting tracks, voyaging deep into the cavern of the unknown.
The album kicks off with “Ferrum” and the segment in it that would have been where the verses were sang on sounds like it could have made a pretty cool soundtrack for a retro-video game. Specifically an early 90’s side scrolling action/horror type deal. The more energetic part that follows, that could have been the chorus, sounds like a riff that would have been at home in the 80s/90s. And in classic “progressive” style when we approach the half way point of the song things switch up and it almost feels like an entirely different song during that segment. Things do switch back to the 80s/90s-esque riffing about a minute to the end of the song. “Keymaker” comes next and has a harder rock/alternative rock/nu metal feel to its major riffs. Then it hits me as the song goes on. The production, mixing recording….all that jazz, on the album is really well done. The guitars sound distorted the drums sound organic. But it’s all clean and well done.
“Gaea” starts off with some ambient sounds and string picking on a not-distorted guitar. This is followed by one of the Jazziest riffs I have heard in a rock song. The sound was fun and different and cool. And honestly, it’s probably the most memorable song on the album. Falling just a few seconds short of the 8-minute mark, this is one of the longest songs on the album. In fact, it is a long song, PERIOD. But somehow it doesn’t get boring. If you are a fan of rock I think you should give the album a listen, at best it’s a 6 track journey that is longer and richer than some albums that have 10-12 tracks on them. And the song writing is good. At worst…you have an instrumental rock album that is fun to listen to when you reading or doing chores.

THE SPACELORDS - 'Synapse' - 2014

0:00 - Synapse
08:41 - Sitarguitar20:46 - N°230:16 - Pyroclastic Monster
Genre: Psychedelic/Space Rock CD by the band - www.thespacelords.com
Vinyl on sulatron records - www.sulatron.com

Marcus Schnitzler / Drums, Voice
Klaus Werz / Bass, Synthesizers, Fx
Hazi / Guitars, Fx

Electric Moon.

The Spacelords started in April 2008, when Marcus Schnitzler (drums, djembe, percussion, special effects) joined Matthias Wettstein (guitars) and Klaus Werz (bass) for a first session. Matthias and Klaus already had a few song-ideas and after a couple of weeks almost half of the first CD was arranged. As the ideas came so quick and the feeling was there from the first moment, it was clear: Even each of them had his own personal style and background, they had found a common sense in music. Marcus, who's traveling to west Africa since 1991, to study traditional rhythms, but is also into psychedelic music for over 25 years, Matthias, influenced by his trips to India since the seventies and playing his guitar for more than 3 decades, and Klaus, who first started 1978 in Russia as a drummer, but then changed soon to his favourite instrument - the guitar. After more than 20 years playing the guitar, he began on the bass guitar in 2006. His precise and groovy bass playing makes The Spacelords' style possible. The 4th Spacelord Reinhold (flute) came into the band in May 2008. He highlighted the music on the first CD with his flute and stayed with the band until end of 2009. Their eponymous debut album was distributed via an Italian independent label BTF in 2010.

The Spacelords - Liquid Sun - 2016

Review by Robert 'Unlce Prog' Brady http://powerofprog.com/?s=the+spacelords
1. Liquid Sun - 0:00
2. Spaceship Breakdown -
13:00
3. Black Hole -
22:38

It is as if the Krautrock of Germany and the Psychedelic/Acid rock of San Francisco had ‘Melodic Intercourse’ and created an all new sub genre within progressive and psychedelic music. This new music would have all the elements of both scenes as well as a more free form improvisational sound that is not as pre conceived nor written ahead of time. One of the many multiple offspring that both scenes of music produced was current German progressive/psychedelic rockers The Spacelords. The Spacelords Liquid Sun embodies a little bit of every element of the two music scenes mentioned above along with their own improvised and free form approach to the music itself. Although only 3 songs and a total album length of 43 minutes long, The Spacelords Liquid Sun gives the listener a sonic sense of a full one hour of listening bliss. Within the 43 minutes we find long improvised yet tight rhythmic sections with layer upon layers of intergalactic soundscapes and atmospheres. Now a brief yet detailed look at The Spacelords Liquid Sun.
Liquid Sun begins with a gentle and subtle percussive element with the cymbals from the drums. That element is quickly met by the tight rhythm section between the deep bass and rhythm guitar. This is a more progressive track meaning it starts out very subtle and climbs in various up and down tempo progressions and passages. At some points it sounds like a cross between Earthless meets Buckethead meets Oresund Space Collective. About the
3:00 mark it takes a heavily space rock approach within the track. At about the 6:00 mark the track takes a very 1970’s stoner rock turn. At the 7:00 mark it takes a highly and perfectly surround sound approach as if to give the listener an appearance of some alien contact. The final 4:00 of the track is very traditional psychedelic/stoner that contains heavy progressive time signatures towards a climax.
Spaceship Breakdown starts off almost in the vein of very early ZZ Top Tres Hombres’ passage of progression. It may give the listener an appearance of 4/4 however there is much more like a 5/4 and 7/8 time signature going on here. There also seems to be some various spaceship micro processing effects happening in the back drop. This track always breaks back to the same progression before taking a sonic ascension towards a climatic riff and passage. Spaceship Breakdown also has some very tight rhythm based guitar solo’s. This is a type of track if you had a intergalactic convertible going through the concourse of space and time you may hear this. Many of the space effects are wonderfully performed on a mellotron synth organ.
Black Hole starts out with a lot of guitar fret work making more effects as it goes and balancing them well with melody. It has a very eerie yet liquid and subtle vibe about it. This is met by a perfectly complimented deep bass and drum rhythm section. At about the
4:00 mark the band really settles in for a lengthy jam session. The passages and progressions off the riffs continue to climb with great continuity. For a 21:10 improvised track the band really picks up one another’s changes really spot on. There continues to be surround sound style soundscapes and effects. The track evens takes some serious down tuned stoner style elements as well. At some points this takes a very stoner metal turn. If you like long progressive free form improvised jam songs than Black Hole is perfect for your audio pallet.
The Spacelords Liquid Sun was a true adventure. It is definitely one of those albums the band can certainly build their legacy upon. They can convey the true nature of the goal they set without totally overwhelming the listener. Liquid Sun will be a album that will celebrated a few generations from now much like the Krautrock of Germany and Psychedelic rock of San Francisco is now.

With:

Recorded January 1975 in Island Studios, London

"During a lull in the Roxy Music circus troupe's lengthy 70s run, guitarist Phil Manzanera took the unusual step of revisiting an old previously un-recorded group. Reconstituting Quiet Sun with a line-up that included keyboardist Dave Jarrett, bassist Bill MacCormick and drummer Charles Hayward, he scored a most unlikely triumph (well in a musical sense, not a commercial one!). Quiet Sun's only album is as far away from Roxy Music's standard fare as you can get, being a more overtly progressive set of barn-storming jazz-rock that is not dissimiliar to the efforts of say Hatfield And The North. In fact, this ironically titled album is nothing short of a lost Canterbury classic.

The opener Sol Caliente is a particular highlight, a triumphant spacey jazz-rock exploration ... driving yet unpredictable, quirky yet focussed, it is full of visceral playing from Manzanera and Jarrett. Trumpet With Motherhood is no more than a slight detour ... a brief electric piano/guitar feedback ride, before the band slowly builds into the back-breaking, eternally writhing Bargain Classics, on which Dave Jarrett turns in a momumental keyboard performance that ranks him momentarily alongside those other Canterbury keyboardist Daves ... Stewart and Sinclair.

R.F.D. is another stunner, all atmospheric swirling organ and jazz-inflected electric piano (actually in addition to Jarrett, both Manzanera and Hayward are also credited with playing keyboards, so I can't be sure who's doing what) to create that otherworld feeling we all know and love. Perhaps my favourite track of all is Mummy Was An Asteroid, Daddy Was A Small Non-Stick Kitchen Utensil (there's a title for you!) which brings agression back to the table, with Manzanera's impressive guitar work and a blistering classical keyboard solo (presumably from Jarrett) really stealing the show. A nod too to Hayward's exciting work on the drums.

Trot starts off as a doozy of a psychedelic ride with Manzanera's acidic guitar lines (more than once I was reminded of Robbie Krieger of the Doors) teasing life out of a repeated keyboard figure before a delightful lyrical piano solo unfolds. The raucous guitar that closes out the piece only underlines the unpredictablity of this great album. The curtain closes with Rongwrong, which is certainly an atypical finish, as it is a somewhat lighter piece (despite being the album's longest). It is a strange variety of piano dominated progressive pop (imagine a more adventurous Supertramp trying to make Syd Barrett-like melodies) with rather poor vocals ... courtesy of MacCormick, I believe. He may not do the job as a vocalist, but he definitely stars with an enormous, well-supported bass solo. Despite not quite fitting in with the mood of the rest of the album, I see it as more proof of the impressive array of skills that Quiet Sun possessed.

A true lost classic, I think this album is much better than any single album Manzanera cut with Roxy Music. If anything, despite belonging firmly in the Canterbury camp, Mainstream is a little more spacey and a little more symphonic, than yer "average" Canterbury masterpiece. A real treat awaits you here, folks!" Review by Trotsky at Prog Archives (

"Most bands will reach a creative peak at a certain point in their career after which they simply continue in a less interesting fashion before eventually calling it a day. Not so with Motorpsycho. After more than 20 years they continue to develop and to to challenge themselves artistically. On this epic, double concept album, easily their most ambitious yet, Motorpsycho has assembled the cream of classical and jazz musicians from world class ensembles established in Trondheim, their hometown. ”The Death Defying Unicorn” was first commisioned by Molde International Jazzfestival for their 50th anniversary in 2010 where it was performed on the main outdoor stage. This, however, has been partly re-arranged, refined and recorded from scratch at Propeller Studios in Oslo with Kåre Chr. Vestrheim once again co-producing as he did with ”Heavy Metal Fruit”. Ståle Storløkken (Supersilent, Elephant9, Humcrush, Terje Rypdal) is considered one of Norway´s top keyboardists but here he also comes into his full as a writer and not at least arranger of the two ensembles. His contributions to this album can not be stressed enough. Among the players in Trondheim Jazz Orchestra are wellknown names such as Kjetil Møster (Ultralyd), André Roligheten (Albatrosh) and Mathias Eick, not to forget star violinist Ola Kvernberg."
