► Português: AQUARIA é uma banda de power metal sinfônico do Rio de Janeiro, no Brasil. Foi criada em 1999 sob o nome UIRAPURU, e com esse nome lançou duas demos: "Here Comes The Life" e "Flames Of Trinity". Em 2005 é apresentado o primeiro álbum da banda, "Luxaeterna". Dois anos depois é a vez de "Shambala", álbum conceitual que retrata a invasão portuguesa ao Brasil e da paixão de um navegante português pela personagem Iara, representada na capa do CD por uma ilustração feita pelo designer brasileiro Antonio César.
► English: AQUARIA is a symphonic power metal band from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Born in 1999 first under the name UIRAPURU, they released two demos: "Here Comes The Life" and "Flames Of Trinity". By 2005 the band releases their first album, "Luxaeterna". Two years later "Shambala" is released, telling the story of the portuguese invasion to brazilian lands in 1500's and the about the love story of a portuguese sailor with a native called Iara. She is retrated on the album cover, an ilustration made by the brazilian designer Antonio Cesar.
