Climax Chicago Blues Band - A Lot of Bottle - Full Album (1970)

Опубликовано: 7 июн. 2015 г.
The nucleus of the "Climax Blues Band" was formed in Stafford in 1968, approaching the end of the british blues-boom which brought us bands to the likes of Savoy Brown or Fleetwood Mac. Band members Colin Cooper (voc, sax, piano, harmonica, guitar), Peter Haycock (vocals, guitar, slide guitar), Derek Holt (bass, melotron, vocals) Richard Jones (bass, keyb., voc), George Newsome (drums) and Arthur Wood (keyb, harmonica), with their electrick blues rock snapped up a deal suprisingly fast to release two closely-following albums labelled by Rolling Stone Magazine as "Basic-Sound Jazz-Rock-Blues". They kept tighylu to this style during the course of over dozen LP-productions, as in classic blues numbers "How Many More Years", varying rarely but proficiently through Caribbean sea-shanties like "Cubano Chant", dry up-beat rock songs like "Hey Baby, Everything Gonna Be Alright" and moody Jazz statements like "Flight". On entering the british tour circut, the perfectly harmonious sextet found the clubs, festivals and universities full of loyal enthusiastic fans, despite low record sales.
