Released in 1993, "Blood" was Bad Moon Risings excellent sophomore effort. Founded by Kal Swan and Doug Aldrich, the group was also comprised of rock vets Jackie Ramos and Ian Mayo(both of Herricane Alice).
Blood is just a solid melodic hard rock album all around. Aldrich continues to light things up, and demonstrates why he is such an in-demand guitarist, and Swan's vocals have never been more muscular.
I strongly recommend any of Bad Moon Risings records. I can't see fans of the melodic-rock genre not being highly impressed with these guys. I mean, come on, Doug Aldrich plays guitar on these albums!!
